Realising that our Polo just won’t do the job that day, I borrowed my brother’s Caddie and drove through to Cape Town to pick up all the various things I needed. Just as well because a 100m of velt is a lot of velt to drive around in a car.

The second photo is of when I picked up the fabric from the printers. That’s the exciting part. When you see the the pattern in the colour on the fabric. Before that it is really all just in my head. You don’t always get to see the sample in the colour and design you intend to print.

O yes, before I forget…. Lilly has discovered PINK! Everything in her colour chart is pink. The pinker, the better.
